CLASS coordinator Eduardo Quiñones is interviewed by Scientific Computing World

The CLASS coordinator Eduardo Quiñones was interviewed by Scientific Computing World with his insights featuring in the magazine Winter 2021 issue.

The key media in the field of computing science, research, and engineering talked to Eduardo Quiñones about the three projects he is coordinating at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center: CLASS, ELASTIC, and AMPERE, and explained how, through these projects, the novel software framework of CLASS will help increase productivity of developers working with edge computing.

The article, titled "Edge computing", focused also on the use cases and various smart city applications implemented by the projects, which will help authorities and city infrastructures to predict trajectories of objects, detect collisions, estimate pollution emissions, and overall improve the quality of life of citizens.
